This ARC is valid for 1 year and can be extended for another year (total 2 years).<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u7562\u696d\u5b78\u751f\u53ef\u6191\u9298\u50b3\u7562\u696d\u8b49\u66f8\u81f3\u79fb\u6c11\u7f72\u7533\u8acb<\/strong><strong> &#8220;JOB-Seeking&#8221; <\/strong><strong>\u5c45\u7559\u8b49\uff0c\u6548\u671f\u4e00\u5e74\uff0c\u53ef\u7533\u8acb\u5169\u6b21\uff0c\u5408\u8a08\u5169\u5e74\u3002<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Once you graduate, MCU will notify the Immigration Office, and your current ARC will eventually be canceled, even if it is still valid.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u5b78\u6821\u5c07\u901a\u5831\u4f60\u5df2\u7562\u696d\uff0c\u79fb\u6c11\u7f72\u6703\u5728\u7a0b\u5e8f\u5f8c\u53d6\u6d88\u4f60\u7684\u5c45\u7559\u8b49\u3002<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">If you plan to leave Taiwan and return later to look for a job, apply for the &#8220;Job-Seeking&#8221; ARC <strong>before leaving Taiwan<\/strong>.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u5982\u8a08\u756b\u51fa\u570b\u5f8c\u518d\u56de\u53f0\u627e\u5de5\u4f5c\uff0c\u8acb\u52d9\u5fc5\u5728\u51fa\u570b\u524d\u7533\u8acb<\/strong><strong> &#8220;JOB-Seeking&#8221; <\/strong><strong>\u5c45\u7559\u8b49\u3002<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Pursuing a new degree in Taiwan:<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">If you intend to pursue a new degree in Taiwan, you <strong>cannot use the MCU diploma to extend your ARC<\/strong>. Only the admission letter for the new program can be used for this purpose.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u653b\u8b80\u65b0\u5b78\u4f4d\u53ea\u80fd\u4f7f\u7528\u65b0\u5b78\u7a0b\u7684\u9304\u53d6\u901a\u77e5\u66f8\u4f86\u5ef6\u671f\u5c45\u7559\u8b49\uff0c\u4e0d\u5f97\u4f7f\u7528\u9298\u50b3\u5927\u5b78\u7684\u7562\u696d\u8b49\u66f8\u5ef6\u671f\u5c45\u7559\u3002<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Starting a full-time job in Taiwan:<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Use your diploma to extend your ARC and work with your employer to apply for a work visa and a new ARC. Confirm details with your employer.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u5728\u53f0\u5168\u8077\u5de5\u4f5c\uff0c\u9700\u7528\u7562\u696d\u8b49\u66f8\u5ef6\u671f\u5c45\u7559\u8b49\uff0c\u4e26\u7531\u516c\u53f8\u7533\u8acb\u5de5\u4f5c\u7c3d\u8b49\u53ca\u5c45\u7559\u8b49\u3002<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong style=\"color: initial\"><strong>II. <\/strong>National Health Insurance (NHI) <\/strong><strong style=\"color: initial\">\u5168\u6c11\u5065\u5eb7\u4fdd\u96aa<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Your NHI through MCU will expire on <strong>February 28, 2025<\/strong>.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u5b78\u6821\u5065\u4fdd\u6548\u671f\u81f3<\/strong><strong>2025<\/strong><strong>\u5e74<\/strong><strong>2<\/strong><strong>\u6708<\/strong><strong>28<\/strong><strong>\u65e5\u3002<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">After graduation, if you are not yet employed, you can continue your NHI coverage by applying directly at the National Health Insurance Agency.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u7562\u696d\u5f8c\uff0c\u672a\u627e\u5230\u5168\u8077\u5de5\u4f5c\u524d\uff0c\u53ef\u81f3\u5065\u4fdd\u5c40\u7533\u8acb\u7e7c\u7e8c\u6295\u4fdd\u5065\u4fdd\u3002<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Before permanently leaving Taiwan, cancel your NHI at the agency.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u96e2\u958b\u53f0\u7063\u524d\u8acb\u81f3\u5065\u4fdd\u5c40\u8fa6\u7406\u9000\u4fdd\u3002<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>III. Student Work Permit <\/strong><strong>\u5de5\u4f5c\u8b49<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Graduating students\u2019 work permits remain valid until <strong>January 31, 2025<\/strong>.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u61c9\u5c46\u7562\u696d\u751f\u4e4b\u5de5\u4f5c\u8b49\u6709\u6548\u81f3<\/strong><strong>2025<\/strong><strong>\u5e74<\/strong><strong>1<\/strong><strong>\u6708<\/strong><strong>31<\/strong><strong>\u65e5\u3002<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong style=\"color: initial\"><strong>IV. <\/strong>Students Wishing to Work in Taiwan <\/strong><strong style=\"color: initial\">\u7562\u696d\u5f8c\u60f3\u7559\u53f0\u5de5\u4f5c<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn about work permits, qualifications, and regulations via the Ministry of Labor:<br \/>\n<strong>\u4e2d\u6587\u7db2\u5740<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ezworktaiwan.wda.gov.tw\/Content_List.aspx?n=90B5EEEBE3049C9B\">https:\/\/ezworktaiwan.wda.gov.tw\/Content_List.aspx?n=90B5EEEBE3049C9B<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>English Website:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ezworktaiwan.wda.gov.tw\/en\/Content_List.aspx?n=ACB934E235E89133\">https:\/\/ezworktaiwan.wda.gov.tw\/en\/Content_List.aspx?n=ACB934E235E89133<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>V.\u00a0 Extending Students <\/strong><strong>\u5ef6\u4fee\u751f<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Registration for Spring 2025 (February):<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Registration is on <strong>January 22-23, 2025<\/strong>. Complete it on the <a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/academic.mcu.edu.tw\/en\/\">Registration Website<\/a>, select courses, and pay the bill (includes NHI fee of NTD 4,956).<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u8a3b\u518a\u65e5\u671f\u70ba<\/strong><strong>2025<\/strong><strong>\u5e74<\/strong><strong>1<\/strong><strong>\u6708<\/strong><strong>22<\/strong><strong>\u65e5\u81f3<\/strong><strong>23<\/strong><strong>\u65e5\uff0c\u8acb\u5728\u8a3b\u518a\u7db2\u7ad9\u5b8c\u6210\u9078\u8ab2\u4e26\u7e73\u4ea4\u8cbb\u7528\uff08\u5305\u62ec\u5065\u4fdd\u8cbb<\/strong><strong>4,956<\/strong><strong>\u5143\uff09\u3002<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Extending ARC:<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">If your ARC expires <strong>before registration day<\/strong>, apply for an &#8220;Extending Study Certificate&#8221; from the MCU Registration Office at A building, 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Floor, Taipei Campus to renew your ARC.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u5982\u679c\u4f60\u7684\u5c45\u7559\u8b49\u5728\u8a3b\u518a\u65e5\u524d\u5230\u671f\uff0c\u8acb\u524d\u5f80\u9298\u50b3\u5927\u5b78\u53f0\u5317\u6821\u5340<\/strong><strong>A<\/strong><strong>\u68df<\/strong><strong>3<\/strong><strong>\u6a13\u8a3b\u518a\u7d44\u7533\u8acb\u2018\u5ef6\u9577\u4fee\u696d\u8b49\u660e\u2019\u4ee5\u4fbf\u5ef6\u671f\u5c45\u7559\u8b49\u3002<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">If it expires <strong>after registration<\/strong>, extend it with your stamped Student ID at the MCU Registration Office at A building, 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Floor, Taipei Campus.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u5982\u679c\u5c45\u7559\u8b49\u5728\u8a3b\u518a\u65e5\u5f8c\u5230\u671f\uff0c\u8acb\u6301\u5df2\u84cb\u7ae0\u7684\u5b78\u751f\u8b49\u524d\u5f80\u9298\u50b3\u5927\u5b78\u53f0\u5317\u6821\u5340<\/strong><strong>A<\/strong><strong>\u68df<\/strong><strong>3<\/strong><strong>\u6a13\u8a3b\u518a\u7d44\u3002<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>VI. <\/strong><strong style=\"color: initial\">Diploma and Transcript Verification <\/strong><strong style=\"color: initial\">\u7562\u696d\u8b49\u66f8\u53ca\u6210\u7e3e\u55ae\u8a8d\u8b49<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Document verification depends on personal needs and involves two steps:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Court Notarization<\/strong> at Shihlin District Court.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Authentication<\/strong> at BOCA (Bureau of Consular Affairs).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">It is Non-essential to verify your diploma and transcripts.
