If you plan to pursue another degree program in Taiwan (including at MCU), please visit the Section of International Student Service (SISS) to ensure the continuation of your National Health Insurance (NHI) and ARC validity.
If you are enrolled only in senior courses this semester, you may collect your diploma starting from June 8, 2026.
If you are enrolled in any non-senior courses, you may collect your diploma starting from July 15, 2026.
Please bring your Student ID and ARC when picking up your diploma.

Please note: Summer Admin Recess from July 17-26, 2026. All school offices will be closed.

如果您計畫在台灣繼續攻讀新的學位（包含在銘傳大學），請前往境外生輔導組(SISS)辦理相關手續，以確保您的全民健康保險（NHI）及居留證（ARC）持續有效。

若本學期僅修讀畢業班課程，可於 2026年6月8日 起領取畢業證書。
若本學期有修讀非畢業班課程，則可於 2026年7月15日 起領取畢業證書。
領取畢業證書時，請攜帶學生證及居留證（ARC）。  

請注意：2026年7月17日至7月26日為暑期行政休假期間，屆時學校各行政單位將暫停辦公。

每位畢業生都應該知道的六件事

I. ARC (Alien Resident Certificate) 居留證

1. ARC After Graduation

By government regulations, MCU must report to the Immigration Office once you graduate. Your current ARC will eventually be canceled, even if it has not expired.

依政府規定，畢業後學校將通報移民署，您現有的 ARC 即使仍在有效期限內，也會被註銷。

2. Switching to a “Job-Seeking ARC” 求職居留證

  1. Graduates may use the MCU diploma to apply for a Job-Seeking ARC at the Immigration Office.
    It is valid for one year and may be extended once, for a maximum of two years.

    畢業生可憑銘傳畢業證書至移民署申請求職居留證，效期一年，可再延長一次，最長兩年。

  2. If you plan to leave Taiwan and return later to look for a job, please make sure to apply for the Job-Seeking ARC before leaving Taiwan.

    若計畫短暫離境後回台求職，請務必在離境前申請求職居留證。

3. Pursuing a New Degree in Taiwan 攻讀新學位

DO NOT use the MCU diploma to extend your ARC.
Pursuing a new degree in Taiwan, only the new program’s admission letter can be used for ARC extension.

攻讀新學位時，只能使用新學程的錄取通知書辦理 ARC 延期，不能使用銘傳的畢業證書。

4. Starting a Full-Time Job in Taiwan 全職工作

Use your diploma to extend your ARC. Your employer will then assist you in applying for a work permit and a new ARC.
Please confirm details directly with your employer.

以全職工作續留台灣者，需用畢業證書延長居留證，後續由公司協助辦理工作許可與新的 ARC，請與公司確認相關程序。

II. National Health Insurance (NHI) 全民健康保險

  1. Your NHI coverage through MCU is valid until Sept 1, 2026.

    學校投保的健保有效至 2026年9月1日。

  2. After graduation, if you are not yet employed, you must maintain NHI by enrolling directly at the National Health Insurance Agency (NHI).

    畢業後若尚未受雇，須自行前往健保署辦理健保續保。

  3. After graduating from MCU, if you are enrolled in the National Health Insurance through the NHI Agency, please make sure to cancel your NHI coverage before permanently leaving Taiwan.

    畢業離開銘傳後，若你是向健保署自行加保全民健康保險者，於永久離開台灣前，請務必辦理退保手續。

III. Student Work Permit 工作證

Your student work permit becomes invalid immediately after graduation.

學生工作證於畢業後即失效。

IV. Working in Taiwan After Graduation 畢業後留台工作

  3. Starting from January 1, 2026, all graduates may use their diplomas to apply for a Job Seeking ARC, allowing them to stay in Taiwan and work without applying for a full-time work permit or meeting the new scoring criteria.        自 2026年1月1日起，所有畢業生可使用畢業證書申請 就業尋求居留證（Job Seeking ARC），以便留在台灣並工作，無需申請全職工作許可或符合新評點標準。

  4. The Job Seeking ARC is valid for a maximum of two years and does not count toward the requirements for applying for permanent residency.                                                                                                                                      就業尋求居留證（Job Seeking ARC）最長有效期限為兩年，且不計入申請永久居留的資格條件。

V. Extending Students 延修生

Extending students’ registration is on AUG.18-19, 2026.  Please complete registration online, select courses, and pay fees (including NHI fee NTD 4,956).

2026年8月18-19日延修生註冊，請於註冊網站完成選課及繳費（含健保費4,956元）。

Extending ARC 延期居留證

  1. If your ARC expires before registration day, apply for an “Extended Study Certificate” at the Registration Office (A Building, 3rd Floor).

    若 ARC 在註冊日前到期，請至台北校區 A館3樓註冊組申請「延長修業證明」。

  2.  If your ARC expires after August 18–19, please use your stamped Student ID to apply for an extension.  

      若您的居留證（ARC）於 8月18–19日之後到期，請持已蓋章的學生證辦理延期。  

VI. Diploma & Transcript Verification 畢業證書與成績單認證

1. Verification involves two steps:

文件驗證分以下兩步驟：

  1. Court Notarization (Shihlin District Court)
    士林地方法院公證處

  2. Authentication (Bureau of Consular Affairs – BOCA)
    外交部領事事務局

Verification is optional and based on personal needs.

文件認證屬個人需求，非必要程序。
