🎓 Eligibility
- MCU undergraduate / graduate degree students (no enrollment limit)
- Open to all years and majors
- Recommended Japanese proficiency: beginner JLPT N5 (can understand basic Japanese in daily life)
📝 Application Process
- Submit the “Letter of Deposition” to the Division of International Education and Exchange (IEE) by October 28th (Wed).
- Admission results will be notified by email within 3 days after the deadline.
- Accepted students must complete NUIS’s online registration before November 19th deadline, submit required documents, and make payment in early December.
💰 Program Tuition Fee (not including accommodation): 105,000 yen (approx. NTD 21,000+)
👉 Hotel accommodation fee: 4,300 yen/ daily (x 13 nights approx. NTD 11,000+)
📌 Additional Notes
✈ Round-trip economy airfare to Japan: approx. NT$10,000–20,000. Tickets may be purchased through the MCU-affiliated travel agency (3F, Tourism Building, Taoyuan Campus) or other travel agencies by yourself.
🛂 Visa: Holders of Taiwan passports enjoy a 90-day visa-free stay (passport validity must exceed 6 months). Holders of other passports should contact the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association.
🍜 Meals on your own expenses: Estimated NT$200–300 per meal.
🛡 Insurance: Participants must purchase overseas insurance (accident/travel/medical). Coverage must be valid from departure until return.
