📍 Location: Seoul & Jeju Island, Korea — Hanyang University (currently in the process of establishing a sister-school partnership with MCU)
📅 4-weeks HISS Program Date: June 28 – July 25 (including the final week in Jeju Island)

🎓 Eligibility

  • MCU undergraduate / graduate degree students (no enrollment limit)
  • Open to all years and majors
  • Recommended English proficiency: TOEIC 500+ conversational level

📝 Application Process

  1. Submit the “Letter of Deposition” to the Division of International Education and Exchange (IEE) by May 4th (Mon).
  2. Admission results will be notified by email within 3 days after the deadline.
  3. Accepted students must complete HISS online registration, submit required documents, and make payment before May 23.

💰 Special Discounted Fee

  • 4-weeks HISS Program Tuition: KRW 2,000,000 (approx. USD 1,340)
    👉 Payment must be remitted to HISS designated account (details to be provided) before May 23.
  • HISS Program Tuition includes: application fee, course fee, housing in Jeju, one-way air ticket from Seoul to Jeju
  • It does not include: airfare to and from Seoul. Housing fees for the 3-weeks stay in Seoul must be applied for separately and paid accordingly.

📌 Additional Notes
✈ Round-trip economy airfare to Korea: approx. NT$10,000–20,000. Tickets may be purchased through the MCU-affiliated travel agency (3F, Tourism Building, Taoyuan Campus) or other travel agencies by yourself.
🛂 Visa: Holders of Taiwan passports enjoy a 90-day visa-free stay (passport validity must exceed 6 months). Holders of other passports should contact the Korean Mission in Taipei.
🍜 Meals on your own expenses: Estimated NT$200–300 per meal.
🏠 Meeting Point: Incheon International Airport (designated location).
🛡 Insurance: Participants must purchase overseas insurance (accident/travel/medical). Coverage must be valid from departure until return.

📍 📍 📍 5-Weeks HYLION Korea + Tokyo International Summer School
It’s not only about Korea! It’s time for Japan!
Final week includes visits to Waseda University in Tokyo, Kamakura and Tokyo Disneyland.
📅 5-weeks HYLION Program Date: June 28 – August 1 (including the final week in Tokyo, Japan)
📝 Application Process: Submit the “Letter of Deposition” to the Division of International Education and Exchange (IEE) by April 20th (Mon). The HYLION Program is limited to 100 participants, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Accepted students must complete HYLION online registration, submit required documents, and make payment before April 30.

💰 5-weeks HYLION Program Tuition: KRW 5,000,000 (approx. USD 3,350), including application fee, course fee, housing in Seoul + Jeju Island + Tokyo, one-way air ticket from Seoul to Jeju, one-way air ticket form Jeju to Tokyo, partial meals during Jeju/Tokyo excursions & club activities.
