COSTS OF STUDYING AT MCU– ESTIMATION

The estimated costs of studying at MCU are for reference only, which may vary depending on individual behavior and needs, do not include personal travel.

Visa Application Fee to enter Taiwan
※Please contact the Taiwan Representative Office in your country

National Health Insurance: NT$826/ per month or NT$4,956/ per semester
※Foreign students who have been staying in Taiwan for more than 6 months and already been issued the residence visa, must attend the National Health Insurance scheme.
※For the first 6 months of arrival in Taiwan (Fall semester: Sept.~Feb., Spring semester: Mar.~Aug.), we recommend you arrange your own general insurance coverage from home country, and bring the English copy of your insurance policy to Taiwan.

Medical Health Check-up: NT$500/ for studying at MCU for one-semester; NT$1,800/ for studying at MCU for one academic year (subject to change)
※All newly-arriving students are required to attend the Medical Checkup arranaged by the unviersity.

School Housing:
※Students are accommodated in on or off-campus school housing; rooms are arranged by the university.
School Housing Fee: NT$15,000~NT$21,600 per person per semester

(Self-rented) Private Housing:
(Taoyuan campus) Off-campus private apartment (self-rented) per Month: NT$5,000~8,000
(Taipei campus) Off-campus private apartment (self-rented) per Month: NT$6,000~10,000
above estimated prices are subject to the types of the apartment and location

Personal bedding set
including mattress, pillow and quilt：approx. NT$1,000~2,000

Meals & daily expenses:
approx. NT$10,000/ per month~NT$60,000/ per semester
